Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson & local MP visit Holdens Bottling and Brewery in Dudley, West Midlands

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and local MP Marco Longhi visited the historic Holdens site on 25th November 2022 and the former PM took the opportunity to talk to staff during the visit. The Bottling site offers high speed and modern packaging facilities for numerous liquids – including Beer, Cider and Soft Drinks. The PM, local MP and production staff discussed the current challenges facing businesses in the local area – such as increasing materials / energy costs and recruitment challenges. Boris later joined locals at the Park Inn public house, and even “helped” staff by pulling a pint behind the bar whilst sharing stories and even some regrets related to his time as PM.
