Holden’s Supports Bridgnorth Cycling Club
We’re delighted to be sponsoring Bridgnorth Cycling Club as part of one of several community outreach programmes we support.

We are the British Cycling-affiliated clubs’ main sponsor for the season, supporting them to enter competitions, and provide kit to their members.
The team had a brilliant weekend at the Shropshire Cycling Clubs Association 4-up Team Time Trial Championship (sponsored by RideFast Coaching) last month.
For the very first time in the clubs’ history, they were able to field three teams.
There were three trophies on offer:
– the John Farr 4-up TTT Trophy (overall standings)
– the Road Bike Trophy
– the Female 4-up Trophy
Times:
– Bridgnorth CC A: 01:04:10hrs (First overall in both road bike and Open (TT) categories)
– Bridgnorth CC B: 01:12:04hrs (Sixth overall, fourth road bike team)
– Bridgnorth CC Females: 01:24:13hrs (Second female team overall but first ‘Shropshire’ team, hence winners)
For the women’s team, who had only met for their first practice run on the previous Friday evening, this was a huge achievement!
Riders:
– Bridgnorth CC A: Matt Clarke, James Satoor, Tom Herbert, Sean Dawson
– Bridgnorth CC B: Jason Meyer, Tim Cullinan, Jonathan Dickens, Oliver Campbell
– Bridgnorth CC Females: Hayley Brain, Megan Brain, Charlotte Hunt, Lauren Turley
With such an even spread of ability and effort on the day, all three teams finished as a four, despite times being taken on the third rider to cross the line and teams generally dropping a rider near to the finish.
A photographer was on hand and photos of the teams can be found at the following link for a free download:
